Deserted Dreamscapes ::re-edit

Geometric, vibrant and natural... such is the deserted dreamscape.

Okay so, when I first published susurruskarma.deviantart.com/a… I was fine with the obstructions in the background. A good month or so later however and I'm not quite as neutral towards them... in fact, they annoy me.

I created this edit the same night as the primary edit, but decided against posting this one because I deemed it too 'major' an edit.

Now, after experimenting with photo-manipulation a little, I'm not as scared of the technique as I was. I firmly believe in MINIMAL post-prod, to the extent where it benefits the image, and that's what I've done here.

I feel that, although the original captures the entire reality of what was outside that window, it was distracting to the surreal, dreamlike theme I was going for. Given the chance I would simply re-shoot instead, but unfortunately the location is no longer available.

Rather than choose which one to keep though, I've simply decided to offer both. You decide which one you like best

So yeah, In other words, I'm pulling a Lucas.
